Reading Time: 3 minutes.

The winter season is on and I feel the need to share with you my top 10 winter wallpapers. At the end of the article you can find a free Windows 10 theme with these wallpapers.

Ski Lifts Photography

Shot with Huawei Mate 20 Lite. Adjusted in Lightroom.

The above photo captures the junction of chairlifts from Straja Ski Resort. On this side of the slope there are three lifts. Each lift takes you to different areas of the slope.

Mountain Top Photography

The image above depicts Bucegi Plateau, Romania. A spectacular place to go in the Winter and not only. It’s a place where Heaven meets Earth. I highly recommend it to photographers and nature lovers. However, make sure you check the weather before going. The road taking you there might be closed.

Another photo from Bucegi Plateau. This time, we can clearly see the ice spread across the mountain range. I have to admit it was very difficult to capture the right angle without losing balance.

Although very beautiful, Bucegi Plateau is also treacherous. We can see a photo of two people skiing on an unofficial slope, or free-styling.

Railway Photography

Shot with Samsung Galaxy S3. Adjusted in Lightroom.

This photo was taken a few years ago, on a mountain trip with my faculty colleagues. We went by train and had the chance to sit at the back.

Gondola Photography

After the train ride we took the gondola to Cota 2000, Sinaia, Romania. The views up there are absolutely breathtaking.

This photo is from the top of Mount Furnica (Mount Ant), in Sinaia Ski Resort, Romania. We can see that electricity cables go all the way up. Also, we can see the telecommunication antenna. So, if you plan to go there to eat something tasty and spend some time on social media, you should be just fine.

Slope Photography

Most people who go up to Cota 2000 are ski-lovers. However, the slopes that start from there are for experienced skiers.

Actually this photo was not my idea. It was my girlfriend’s idea. She is the one who convinced me to go skiing. So, thank you, Daria!
